Concurrent enrollment means a student takes college courses while remaining a full-time middle school or high school student. Students must take a minimum of 20 credits per semester in middle school or high school outside of their college classes to enroll in college coursework. Students are limited to taking a maximum of 11 college credits every semester per community college district. The Lighthouse Academy will take into consideration the student’s academic standing when approving concurrent enrollment. A-G Requirements The Lighthouse Academy will help students determine how college course(s) will count towards high school graduation requirements.
